Note: This feature is available only to administrators.
Rename a user-defined field when its current name does not accurately describe the product data recorded in it. On every product that has an entry for this field, the entry will be updated with the new field name.
To rename a user-defined field:
Starting at the User-Defined Fields page
In the User Defined Fields list, select the field you want to rename.
The box on the left shows two links: Rename and Delete.
Click Rename.
A New Field Name field appears.
In the New Field Name field, enter the user-defined field's new name.
Click Save.
The field's new name is saved.
